The days are getting a little longer, the temperatures warming just a bit. It’s a bit too early to celebrate Spring fully and completely, but we can at least take a peek into…
Nail Color Trends 2022 ~ Montreal and Beyond ???
Abstract Swirl Nail Art. Remember how polka dot art dominated the feeds last Spring? This year we see a similar trend with a more abstract approach (like pictured above). This fun pastel splotch look is best suited against a clear backdrop for increased color definition. (We have amazing nail art technicians at our salon who can’t wait to do this again!)
Swoon in the Lagoon Green. Leave it to Essie to be ahead of the game. Every color in their Swoon in the Lagoon Spring 2022 Collection is completely unique and sooo distinctive. Its like the color itself is the art. Seriously, have you seen a green polish like this anywhere before?
Pearl Pink or Milkfoam Pink. Every spring, at least one pink shade emerges. Pink sort of defines the season after all. Milkfoam pink is just so pretty, sweet and romantic. Brides far and wide are choosing this shade as their nail color of choice this spring. Also popular for those with more active hands since the chipping isn’t as apparent.
Royal Navy Blue. If you’re a lover of casual wear (especially blue jeans), this high-impact color will grab your attention. It adds a splash of upscale to just about any outfit. A nice change from the paler blues that usually dominate the season’s colors.
Fiery Orange Red. Also called Muy Caliente red, this shade will stop people in their tracks. This is a “no joking” red when you’re looking for a bold, not-messing-around color statement. Red with a hint of orange for an extra vibrant punch. Perfect for that attention-grabbing lovin’ gal (or guy).
Pastel rainbow. We’re so used to having each nail tip look the same, we forget the fun of variety. Rainbow colors provide a more dynamic look, like a little rainbow emanating from your hands. This is easy enough to do when getting a manicure in our Montreal salon. Just pick up your favorite colors and the colors adjacent to it.
Deep, earthy brown. Usually reserved for the Fall season, this earthy brown is warm, toasty and just plain comfortable. This color also brings out the undertones of the skin, which most of us overlook when choosing our favorite nail color.
