Spray Tan FAQ’s
1. Exfoliate first. Use a loofah or a skin brush to remove dead skin so your spray tan is sprayed on evenly and lasts longer.
2. Avoid water. Don’t shower or swim for at least 4 – 12 hours after your spray tan. (This includes sweating so pass on your gym workout for the day.)
3. No lotion or make-up. Moisturizing is very important following your spray tan, but not immediately. Give your skin a day to absorb the bronzer then follow up with moisturizers afterwards. Don’t use deodorant or anti-perspirant either (which can interact poorly with the bronzer).
4. Wear loose-fitting, dark clothes. While spray tans do not bleed onto your clothing the way they used to, right after your spray tan, it’s best to wear dark, loose-fitting clothes.
